Students build the stretcher themselves. They start with a 40×50 cm cotton canvas canvas frame, then swap two sides for the 44 cm segments to rebuild it as a 50×50, with fresh cotton canvas ready to clip on.
No staples, pliers or sharp tools in the classroom: segments lock with pins pushed in by hand, and the canvas holds with clips. Spare L Connectors and Pins cover parts that go missing over the school year.
