The joints of the FORMÆT canvas frame: L for the corners, T and X for the internal cross support of large formats.
Connectors join the segments and lock with pins. L connectors form the four corners of every canvas frame.
T connectors join the two pieces of a split side to the interior support, and the X connector sits at the centre where the interior segments cross. canvas frames up to 80 cm only use L connectors; from 100 cm they use L, T and X.
